Community Outreach

We are listening to our neighbors:

Throughout its more than 100-year history, San Francisco State University has placed a strong emphasis on being a good neighbor – and on academic programs and creative activities that are relevant to and yield lasting benefits for its neighborhoods. In his recent letter to the community, President Leslie Wong described our plan for the future, where we continue to embrace this vital role in shaping the vibrant culture, economic growth and civic fabric of San Francisco and the Bay Area.

To that goal, we invite the community to join us for a series of upcoming town halls in early December. At these community forums, we will share more information about the draft plan, answer questions you may have, and have the opportunity to hear your comments and suggestions about it.
